This page is for use by the Diocese of Hawai'i's Youth Delegation heading to the Episcopal Youth Event (EYE23) in Maryland, July 4-8, followed by mission (community service) in the Washington, D.C. area, July 8-12.

IMPORTANT COVID INFORMATION!

Prior to the trip, please take precautions to stay healthy and safe by wearing a mask in public areas and gatherings. All delegates shall take a COVID test on the morning of departure, July 3. A positive result will mean that you cannot travel. O'ahu folks who do not have access to test kits may take the test when you arrive at the Cathedral for the pre-trip gathering. Stay masked until your test result has come through negative. Visit the CDC website for more info HERE.

The EYE23 forms are fillable online. After you fill it out, save the form and add your last name to the file name. Then email it to me by clicking on this form link HERE and upload the files.

Craft & Hula Videos to Learn:

(For the SOME Senior Center Luau-themed event on July 11)

Popsicle Stick frame: We will be doing it without the stand but adding a ribbon for hanging. We are using rainbow colored sticks and shells to decorate.

Yarn Lei: We will have them make only a wristband or head lei instead of the full length lei. Supplies and straws have already been shipped.

Hukilau Hula: We will need someone who can teach it like the gentleman in this video.

Little Grass Shack: IF we have time, we can teach a second hula.
