NOTICE FOR APPLICATIONS ON ECW SPECIALS
(Due annually on August 15)
The Christian Social Relations Committee of the Diocese of Hawai'i - Episcopal Church Women, is now accepting applications for programs that want to be considered as a “SPECIAL”.
Requests for financial assistance (ECW Specials) are due on or before August 15 annually.
Requests should be by letter, including the following information:
Requests will be prayerfully considered by the Christian Social Relations Committee at the ECW Annual Meeting in September. Churches and individuals pledge funds to the support of the "SPECIALS." Checks are sent as monies are received within the grant year.
For projects selected as ECW Specials, a representative of the organization makes a 5-7 minute presentation at the ECW Annual Meeting in September about the program and information as to how the funds will be used. This allows the delegates to make informed choices.
The Bishop's Pastoral Fund is a permanent annual ECW Special. Up to two other projects are selected as ECW Specials.

- Specific amount of financial assistance requested with a financial statement for the past year.
