Listed here are documents related to audits, travel, and reimbursement, as well as the current budget and clergy compensation policy. Also included here are some policies, such as those related to accepting gifts, alienation of property, and safe church.
Mission Ministries Fund
Churches in the Diocese of Hawai'i are eligible to receive grants from the diocesan budget through the Mission Ministries Fund. Find out more about this fund and how to apply for a grant.
2012 Budget Revised for New Diocesan Structure
On December 17, 2011, the Diocesan Council approved the revised budget format for 2012 and the 2013-2014 forecast.
Budget process 2012-2014
The Diocesan Council has published a timeline for formulating the budget for 2012–2014, as well as evaluation forms by which Commissions and congregations are to evaluate their projects from 2010.
In addition, there is a Budget Template Form, which all churches, groups, and commissions should use as they work on projects in 2011.
The Diocesan Council met on August 20, 2011, to review the budget presentation notes/comments, and to balance the budget for three years. They made some changes to the budget. A copy of the 2012 - 2014 proposed budget to convention (Draft #4) is now available for viewing here. There will be two online meetings held in September, to review the changes made to the budget.
