St Augustine’s church will hold its annual Bazaar and Silent Auction on Saturday, September 11, 2010, on its historic 126-year-old campus in Kapa’au. This popular annual event was begun over 50 years ago to raise funds for church community outreach programs, and continues for the same purpose. Among the most popular annual Bazaar offerings are: very popular bento boxes, outside food concessions, and an exciting Silent Auction.Silent Auction items typically include resort golf, dining and accommodation packages, a variety of adventure gift certificates, local art, and local business products and services items. A “Christmas in September” venue has been added this year and will feature a full array of Holiday items. The St. Augustine Church Thrift Shop will also be open to offer great prices on gently used clothing, and household items. Clearly, this year’s Silent Auction, Christmas in September, and Thrift Shop will provide many opportunities to make great deals on great things — a big plus in today’s economy!
