The Cathedral of St. Andrew presents a Carol Concert of music spanning the centuries. The Cathedral Choir will celebrate the carol in all its forms and expressions, under the direction of John Renke and accompanied by organ scholar Yuri McCoy.
Located in the historic heart of downtown Honolulu, the St. Andrew’s Cathedral Carol Concert is part of Honolulu’s annual holiday celebration. Director of Music, John Renke, recognizes the spiritual meaning of “ha” or sacred breath: “The most important thing about singing together is that we are breathing together, and when people breathe together they are truly one.” Carols are meant to be sung together—please come and join us, to sing favorite carols and hear beautiful new ones. Everyone is welcome. For more information: Call 524-2822, ext. 217.
Event is free, calabash offering. Parking is free.
