Disaster Preparedness
In 2007, The Diocese of Hawai‘i commissioned preparation of a comprehensive resource for disaster preparedness and response, intended for use by parishes and other units of the diocese, as well as by families and individuals. The resulting two documents, tailored to the specific situations likely to arise in Hawai‘i, are the main planning resource book "In God's Hands and Ours", and a second volume of Appendices — forms and leaflets intended to be printed for use in implementing the main plan. Both Plan and Appendices are reviewed and updated as new information and resources become available.
