DESCRIPTION:The Sexual Misconduct Prevention training, with the Rev. Al Miles as trainer, will be held on Kaua‘i on Saturday, July 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at All Saints Episcopal Church in Kapa‘a. There are two ways to register (choose one):Download a registration form and email it or mail it to the Office of the BishopRegister onlineThis training is required of all Vestry or Bishop's Committee members, Wardens, Eucharistic Visitors (those who take Communion from the church to people in the hospital or at home), church employees, and clergy. Anyone on Kaua‘i who needs this training should plan to be attend this event. Please note that this training is different from the Safeguarding God's Children training. Safeguarding God's Children focuses on preventing abuse of children, while the Sexual Misconduct Prevention training focuses on preventing sexual harassment and maintaining proper boundaries with adults. If you have had some version of this training in the past, but it was not with the Rev. Al Miles, you should also plan to attend this training.
